I’m a filmmaker who teaches, and a teacher who keeps making films. As a director, producer, and editor I work across documentary and narrative projects, and I’ve spent several years teaching film production at the university level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I taught film production at New York University Abu Dhabi, guiding students from around the world through every stage of making a film — from first idea and script through production and final cut. I hold a BFA in Film and Television Production from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and an MA in Art and Public Policy, also from Tisch. Good teaching starts with trust. I build a classroom where students can take real creative risks — where it’s safe to try something, fall short, and try again. I teach the craft rigorously while staying attentive to how each student actually learns, so they leave with stronger work and the confidence to keep making it on their own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
