I’m a director, producer, and editor working across documentary and narrative projects. Filmmaking is where my teaching comes from — and staying active behind the camera keeps that teaching grounded in how films actually get made today.
Craft
Director · Producer · Editor
I trained in Film and Television Production at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and I’ve worked on both sides of the process: developing and directing projects, producing them through to completion, and shaping them in the edit. That range informs how I work with collaborators — and how I teach.

How I work
From Idea to Finished Film
Whether it’s a documentary or a scripted short, I care most about the through-line: a clear idea, collaborators who trust each other, and the discipline to carry a project all the way to a finished cut.
Finishing is a craft of its own.
- Development & directingFinding the story and the point of view, then leading the shoot.
- ProducingPlanning, logistics, and keeping a project moving to completion.
- Editing & postShaping footage into a finished film.
Let’s talk
Have a project in mind?
I’m always glad to hear about new work, collaborations, and ideas that need a filmmaker’s eye.
